Hydroponic unit
Hydroponic unit
We have set up Hydroponic system as demonstration unit. Hydroponic means soilless farming.
Hydroponics is the technique of growing plants using a water-based nutrient solution rather than soil, and can include an aggregate substrate, or growing media, such as vermiculite, coconut coir, or perlite. Hydroponic production systems are used by small farmers, hobbyists, and commercial enterprises.
Benefits of Hydroponic unit
Benefits of Hydroponic unit
- We can use uncultivated/waste land for hydroponic system
- There is no soil borne disease.
- Efficient use of water and fertilizer
- The number of plants per unit area can be increased.
- Increase plant population per unit area
Green House
Greenhouse farming is the unique farm practice of growing crops within sheltered structures covered by a transparent, or partially transparent, material. The main purpose of greenhouses is to provide favorable growing conditions and to protect crops from unfavorable weather and various pests.
Germination chamber
Germination chamber provide optimum conditions to aid the growth of seedlings from seeds or sporelings from spores. They consist of a temperature- and humidity-controlled space to provide the best environment. The chambers are set up inside a greenhouse or as freestanding units.
